Yeah, that was kind of insane.
I understand that drivers want to stay in the race if at all possible and that their first thought is whether they can make it back to the pit, but I was still surprised that he drove around as long as he did before he stopped. Maybe he was searching for a pull off line where he stopped, but that seemed pretty dangerous. Especially when you see them open the door and a bunch of black smoke billows out.
